Father’s Day and Summer!
Well, looks like we’re rather behind again…what else is new?
We have been with our Grandma in Tucson for the past week, and before that we did a whole lot of driving. All that mixed with our online classes has made us pretty busy, but we’ll try and catch up over the next week!
We had a nice, relaxing Father’s Day. Our dad deserves a little relaxing once in awhile; he’s a chauffeur, comedian, chef, teacher, fix-it man, carpenter, mechanic, business man and numerous other things rolled into one fantastic man!
We spent the day driving around to do some shopping and site-seeing.
We ended the day with a chilly, chocolaty, creamy ice cream cake.
Super delicious! Baskin Robins knows how to make ttasty cakes.
We hit the road the next day, on the first day of summer.
The weather was wonderful, making everything feel brighter and sunnier.
A bunch of these dragonflies were buzzing around.
A day or so later we arrived in Pensacola and stayed in the area for a little over a week to get some business related things done.
Before leaving we headed over to the beach and had a picnic.
It was great spending some time by the ocean!
We pigged out on some watermelon, yum!
The Gulf was nice and lukewarm, we played around in it for a bit.
Next up, we’re on the road again!
